Diagnostic consultation
We evaluate a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders, such as ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Behavioral and Cognitive Disorders. Our evaluation entails meeting with the patient, his/her family (if minor) to discuss relevant clinical history and findings so that an impression/diagnosis and recommendations can be given. We believe in the approach of a thorough and comprehensive evaluation process, which may include information from relevant family, previous evaluations, other clinicians, schools, and teachers.
Medication evaluation and management
The decision to treat the various clinical disorders is a very important one. We work closely with the patient and/or family in the treatment process to determine the appropriate medication regimen and to monitor for its effectiveness and safety.
Medication management with psychotherapy
Some patients may benefit from combined medication and psychotherapy. In these situations, the psychiatrists can also provide various psychotherapy services, including individual, family, and group.
Collaboration with therapists, primary care providers, and educators
We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach so we work closely with the other providers in our group as well as in the community to coordinate a high standard of care.
